The weekend activities in Washington surrounding the debt crisis has brought on a Monday morning sell-off on Wall Street. The debt worries have sent gold and silver trading higher in early morning trading. While gold hit an all time high of over $1,600 in overnight trading its apparent that investors are staying away from the equities market and investing in hard assets.
