Managing Partner of Chapwood Investments Management, Ed Butowsky, joins as a co-host of Varney & Co. on Fox Business to discuss the reality of Copper and Silver surging towards record highs.
Ed Butowsky explains that anything that comes out of the ground or mined is going to be surging drastically. Moreover, besides having an investment play here copper and silver have an industrial use. As solar energy continues to pave its way copper and silver are going to follow as components of this alternative energy solution. Silver is the number one component in solar energy. Ed adds that he believes that this surge in commodities is so hot that he would not be surprised if this went up 50% in the next six months alone.
Charles Payne asks a good question, “What role does the dollar have with those commodities?” While many investors site the week dollar as one driver others point out the global demand as another, Ed believes that the US is headed towards rampant inflation very soon and with a finite amount of these commodities it will be supply and demand. These types of commodities represent just some of the hard assets anyone can own, and because it is an investment you can put your hands on the prices are going to much higher because of all the spending thats going on.
Ed Butowsky is the managing partner of Chapwood Investment Management and is an internationally recognized expert in the investment wealth management industry. Ed is also a frequent guest on other networks such as CNN, NBC, ABC, Fox News, Fox Business, and Bloomberg to name a few.
